I won’t introduce myself. I started this site to share some stuff and that’s it.
I was mostly pushed by mounting nostalgia for the old web. I had a personal website since late 90s, then a blog from 2005 up to 2012 and had published some things on my youtube channel since 2006. I was surprised by how much I loved posting and getting feedback. In the meantime everyone moved to social and it felt like it’s the future. Google Reader died and I gradually forgot about most blogs I read. Now it’s apparent that the old web of personal sites with pure content had a lot of value that is hard or impossible to transfer to social sites. Anything that’s not popular becomes invisible by design. I feel that It’s time for me to recreate my part of that lost web.
I built some stuff in the last decade that I think may be cool or useful for some but most of that went unpublished. Lately I observed that I left most of my youtube videos unlisted and sent them only to a handful of people. So, at first I plan to write about things I wanted to publish but didn’t. Occasionally I will try to jump to more recent ideas. But really, I don’t have any plan. I just want to feel the thrill of being a bit more open I felt before.
As you may have already guessed, English is not my first language. So my writing will have many rough and uneven edges. I hope it won’t be that off putting and I will be able to make up for it with what I share.
